Year 6 Camp

Year Six camp is approaching, and preparations have already begun for camp in term 2. Camp is scheduled for Week 1 of Term 2 (Wednesday April 17^th – Friday April 19^th).

The students will be spending three days and two nights at the Ern Halliday Recreation Camp, participating in a wide range of exciting activities.

The total cost of camp is $192. It was $301 before fundraising efforts and a donation from the P&C. Thank you to everyone for their efforts with all things fundraising.

This year we will be using the catering service Accolade Catering. Using professional caterers will ensure all food safety requirements are adhered to as well as reduce the workload for staff and parent helpers. To assist with the catering, it will be necessary for all children to have their own morning tea and lunch in disposable bags for the Wednesday as the caterers will only be serving dinner on the first day.

Due to bus storage restrictions please limit luggage to one suitcase/bag and one backpack maximum. The bus is fitted with a seatbelt.

Please do not forget to bring

• a drink bottle filled with water with your name on it
• a raincoat or poncho (in case of wet weather)
• a hat.

• electronic games
