Year 2 Kings Park Naturescape Excursion

Dear Parents/Carers,
We are very excited to be attending an excursion to Rio Tinto Kings Park Naturescape as part of our end of year well-being event. Students will be taking part in an education program called “Race around the Park” where we will participate in orienteering, make paper pots, learn about Noongar culture and explore the nature playground. The excursion also promotes teamwork, problem solving and connection to nature. It will be a social and fun day out to celebrate the end of the year whilst also learning about the environment.
The excursion will be on Wednesday 30th November 2022 and the cost is $19.50 for participation in the learning program and bus fare.
Students will need to wear the school uniform and they will need to bring:
- Lunch and recess packed in a lunch bag
- Hat
- Water Bottle
Student will be carrying their lunch bag and water bottle and these will be placed in a designated area at Naturescape. Please note that Kings Park Naturescape does not have any bins provided so students will need to take their rubbish with them.
Please complete the permission form below by Wednesday 23rd November.
