WOW Active Travel Festival

October 9

To kick off Bike Month and to launch our WOW activities for Term 4, Lathlain will be holding an Active Travel Festival. The festival will be held on Wednesday 9 October. The festival will include activities such as:

K1, K3 & K5 – Year 2:

  • Constable Care Puppet Show (45 minutes)
  • A visit from Izzy the Road Safety Lizard (45 minutes)

Year 3 – Year 6:

  • Bike Safety with Cycle Sense (Year 3 to 5 only). Students in these year levels are encouraged to cycle to school with a helmet on the day to ensure they can take part in these activities. Please note: A limited number of loan bikes may be available for students who do not own their own bikes. This is an all-ability level activity; all students are encouraged to participate, no matter their cycling ability (35-minute session)
  • Skateboarding Orientation with Beyond Skate. Skateboards will be provided (35-minute session)
  • Get on board with Transperth. A Transperth bus will be onsite on the day (35-minute session)
  • RAC Road Safety classroom workshops (35-minute session)

There is no cost for the day, however, permission is required in order for your child to participate.
