Dear Parents & Carers,
We are excited to inform you that as part of our classroom learning, Year 5’s in Rooms 15 and 16 will be participating in an excursion to the WA Museum Boola Bardip. The excursion will significantly enhance student outcomes and achievement in a manner that cannot be done in the classroom/school environment. A self-guided excursion at the museum allows the excursion to be tailored to our students and the specific curriculum areas we are covering or have covered in Semester Two. The two exhibitions we have selected will give students opportunities to view our world and our universe in ways that cannot be accessed at school, for example: interactive elements, fossils and artefacts. These elements offer a way of seeing abstract concepts such as space in a more concrete way which can help solidify understanding.
Day: Monday 4th December (Week 9)
Time: Departing Primary School from 9.30 am to arrive for approximately 10.15 am
WA Museum Boola Bardip from 1.30 pm to arrive back for approximately 2.15 pm
