RUOK? Day
RUOK? Day is being recognised at Lathlain Primary School on Friday 15th September 2023. All students and staff are invited to wear something yellow for this day such as a T-shirt, socks, hair scrunchie, necklace just to name a few.
Each student in the school will receive a yellow RUOK wrist band for the day of celebration. The bands are a reminder for students to check in with each other regularly.
Please note: no donations are being collected for this event. Wearing yellow is purely a sign of recognition for the need to check in with friends and have meaningful conversations that could change a life.
This year’s message is, “I’m here to hear.” As a community we will have some large murals in the quadrangle to encourage people to share their own message of support and action to start a conversation.
