Dear Parents,
On Tuesday 19 November, 2024 (week 7) the Year 4’s from rooms 12,13 and 14 will be visiting the WA Museum as part of their HASS and Science curriculum.
Students will travel to and from Perth via train. They will walk to the station and then to the WA Museum under supervision of their class teachers and some parent helpers.
Date: Tuesday 19th November 2024
What: In Geography we are learning about different continents and the impact we are having on our environment. The excursion to the museum will expose students to other cultures and give them an opportunity to compare how they care for their environment and provide sustainability for future generations. We will also look at the adaptations our First Nations people have made towards sustainability and their connection to country.
Where: WA Museum
Approximate timeframes:
9:05am Depart school – walk to Victoria Park station.
9:26am Train to Perth – walk to WA Museum Square for morning recess.
10:00am Enter WA Museum.
12.15pm lunch outside WA Museum.
2.08pm Train to Victoria Park station – return to school.
We expect to be back at school prior to the bell.

Requests for parent volunteers will be put out by individual teachers. If you have any queries or concerns, please speak to the class teacher.
