Year 5 Scitech Excursion

Dear Parents/Carers,
As part of our ‘Earth and Space Sciences’ unit, Room 17 and 18 will be visiting Scitech to view featured exhibitions as well as the ‘Planetarium Moonbase’ show which hosts an immersive, interactive, expert-led live show. Students will be able to learn about the behaviour, influence and importance of our magnificent Moon. They will also get to experience the theatre show, ‘The Perfect Storm’.
Date: Monday the 29th of November (Week 8)
The total cost of the excursion per student is $12.00 inclusive of the entrance and bus fee. Students will need to pay the full amount as the bulk payment has been used.
Students must be in school uniform and will need to bring their water bottle, morning tea and lunch. Students will need to bring a bag for their belongings.
The bus will be leaving Lathlain at 9:00 a.m. so it is important all students are at school by 8:30 a.m. in order to allocate groups and leave promptly. Students will return to school by 2.30 p.m. and will need to be picked up at the usual time of 3.00 p.m.
