Walk to School morning.
The Lathlain Primary School P&C hosted the First Move to School Event on a frosty six degrees C temperature winter’s morning.
221 Students stepped over the finish line. Some walked a few blocks counting every step on paper, while others stepped closer to 3000 paces on route to the senior school oval, accompanied by mums, dads, brothers, sisters, four and two legged buddies and smaller people in prams.
Sporting a few extra layers to keep warm, the faction points on offer were a great incentive to make the distance, along with the personal goals of stepping it out for the team! The fresh mandarins at the finish line were a sweet treat for the remaining steps to class.
