Year One to Year Six students attended the annual Science Week activities. This year’s theme was Deep Blue.
Activities included Minecraft aquatic explorations, augmented reality, ocean origami, virtual tours, live aquatic webcams, knot tying, lightbox sand art, discovery station, green screen, robotic coding challenges, quizzes, and science, games.
The Junior Crew from the Maritime Education Centre were fabulous and brought their boat to teach essential boating skills. Dr Marji Puotinen visited Pre Primary to Year Six classes throughout the week and everyone thoroughly enjoyed her informative presentations and hands on activities about penguins and coral reefs.
