Students will attend the festival during their Japanese class for activities such as origami, Kanji rock art and traditional Japanese games. There will be a Japanese themed lunch at the canteen on Friday 5th May.
To conclude the celebration of Japanese Children's Week, there will be a Japanese themed lunch available from the canteen and staff and students are encouraged to dress up in Japanese costume.
Mental Health Week will be celebrated at Lathlain Primary School from May 12 – 19 with class teachers engaging students in activities based on friendships and conflict resolution. Also during that week, students will engage in 30-40 minutes of yoga/mindfulness with Linda Bancroft from Wellbeing4Kids. These activities are for all students Kindy – Year 6...
Our school is promoting the Walk to School Day on Friday 19 May. Exercise is a fantastic contributor to positive mental Health and thus our promotion of this event. So, on Friday 19th May, we encourage everyone to Walk, Ride or Scoot to School.
